Separation of isotopic-spin-1/2 and −3/2 πN systems in pp→NπN reactions at 6.6 GeV/creactions at 6.6 GeV/c

Summary

Data for the reactions pp → pπ+n and pp → ppπ0 at 6.6 GeV/c are used to obtain the cross-sections for the production of isotopic-spin-1/2 and −3/2 πN systems as well as their mutual interference term. Invariant-mass and momentum transfer projections are presented. Comparisons are made with previous results at 6.92 and 19 GeV/c.

Si usano i dati per le reazioni pp → pπ+n e pp → ppπ0 a 6.6 GeV/c per ottenere le sezioni d’urto per la produzione di sistemi πN di spin isotopico 1/2 e 3/2 ed anche il termine della loro interferenza mutua. Si presentano proiezioni della massa invariante e dell’impulso trasferito. Si fanno confronti con risultati precedenti a 6.92 e 19 GeV/c.

Данные для реакций рр → рπ+п и рр → ррπ0 при 6.6 ГзВ/с испольэуются для получения поперечных сечений рождения систем πN с иэотопическим спином 1/2 и 3/2, а также для определения члена вэаимной интерференции. Приводятся проекции инвариантной массы и передаваемого импульса. Проводится сравнение с предыдушими реэультатами при 6.92 и 19 ГзВ/с.
