Polarization of bremsstrahlung radiation emitted in the high-energy collision of polarized electrons with protons

Summary

The purpose of this paper is to calculate the differential cross-section and the circular polarization of the bremsstrahlung emitted in the high-energy collision of polarized electrons with protons taking into account the effect of the anomalous magnetic moment, the recoil momentum and the two form factors of the proton. Further the possibility of the proton emitting bremsstrahlung is also incorporated. When the incident electrons are polarized, bremsstrahlung of both circular and transverse polarizations occur, however, if the electrons are unpolarized, we only get transverse polarization the estimate of which is available from our analysis.
