Summary
Widths, shifts and intensities of multiphoton transitions between Zeeman and hyperfine sublevels of the ground state of an optically pumped atom are computed in a simple and closed form. The simplicity of the result as well as the control of the approximations involved are made possible by the use of the Liouville-operator formalism, which again proves very powerful to disentagle complicated relaxation patterns.

Si calcolano in forma semplice ed esplicita le larghezze, gli spostamenti e le intensità di transizioni tra sottolivelli Zeeman e sottolivelli iperfini dello stato fondamentale di un atomo pompato otticamente. La semplicità del risultato e il controllo delle approssimazioni che intervengono è reso possibile dall’uso del formalismo dell’operatore di Liouville, che, anche in questo caso, si rivela uno strumento potente per trattare schemi complicati di rilassamento.

В простой и замкнутой форме приводятся ширины, сдвиги и интенсивности многофотонных переходов между зеемановскими и сверхтонкими подуровнями основного состояния оптически накаченного атома. Простота полученного результата, а также контроль используемых приближений являются следствием использования операторного формализма Лиувилля, который оказывается очень удобным для расшифровки сложных картин релаксации.
