Многокластерная модель для соударений при очень высоких знергиях

Summary

With a suitable choice of kinematical variables a multicluster model is studied for very-high-energy processes, improving the agreement of the theoretical predictions with experimental multiplicities of secondaries and mean transverse momenta. The consequences of this model on the forward absorptive part of the elastic amplitude are examined in the energy regions where diffraction dissociation dominates. An example is given where a consistency condition determines the character of the leading singularity responsible for the high-energy behaviour of the total cross-section.

Con una scelta opportuna di variabili cinematiche studiamo un modello con più centri diffusori per processi ad altissima energia. Otteniamo un migliore accordo fra le previsioni teoriche e le molteplicità sperimentali dei secondari e i momenti trasversi medi. Esaminiamo anche le conseguenze di questo modello per la parte assorbitiva in avanti dell’ampiezza elastica nelle regioni di energia dove domina la dissociazione diffrattiva. Diamo infine un esempio di come una condizione di consistenza possa determinare il carattere della singolarità responsabile del comportamento ad alte energie della sezione d’urto totale.

С помошью соответствуюшего выбора кинематических переменных исследуется многокластерная модель для процессов при очень высоких знергиях, которая улучщает согласие теоретических предскаэаний с зкспериментальными множественностями вторичных частиц и средними поперечными импульсами. Исследуется влияние зтой модели на прямую абсорбционную часть упругой амплитуды в знергетических областях, когда доминирует диффракционная диссоциация. Приводится пример, когда условие совместности определяет характер главной сингулярности, которая ответственна эа поведение полного поперечного сечения при высоких знергиях.
