Numerical tests of a novel technique to compute the eigenvalues of differential operators

  • Published:
Il Nuovo Cimento B (1971-1996)

Summary

A recently proposed method to compute the eigenvalues of differential operators, based on an appropriate finite-dimensional matrix representation of the differential operator, is tested on several eigenvalue problems, in one and more dimensions. The results confirm the wide applicability of this technique.
