Zeros of dual resonant amplitudes

Summary

Large classes of zeros of multiparticle dual resonant amplitudes are found by fully exploiting the linear relations, first introduced by Plahte, that relate amplitudes corresponding to different orderings of the external particles. Their connection with duality as well as their generalization to amplitudes with excited particles are discussed. Moreover, at least for the five-point function, the zeros are shown to be a consequence of a larger symmetry than the cyclical one.
