Zusammenfassung
Es werden in einer retrospektiven Studies die Ergebnisse von 101 Patienten, welche wegen einer komplizierten Kolondivertikulitis in den Jahren 1965 bis 1978 operiert wurden, den Ergebnissen von 109 Patienten, welche von 1979 bis 1988 operiert wurden, gegenübergestellt. Bei Akuteingriffen wurde in Gruppe I die primäre Resektion nur in 34,3% als das Verfahren der Wahl angesehen. In Gruppe II änderte sich das Therapiekonzept, wobei in allen Fällen eine primäre Resektion durchgeführt wurde und dadurch die Gesamtletalität von 37,5% auf 11,5% der Akutoperationen gesenkt werden konnte.
Summary
In a retrospective study the results of 101 patients, operated on for complicated colon diverticulitis in the period between 1965 and 1978 (group 1) are compared to the results of 109 patients operated in the period between 1979 and 1988 (group 2). In emergency cases primary resection was performed in group 1 only in 34.3%. In group 2 we changed the procedure and primary resection was done in every case. Due to this changed procedure—primary resection in all cases with acute complicated colon diverticulitis—lethality subsided from 37.5% to 11.5%.
