Fresnel diffraction patterns in the26Mg(3He, α)25Mg reaction at 5 MeV, analysed by the methods of complex angular momenta

Summary

Differential cross-sections for the26Mg(3He, α)25Mg reaction have been measured in the energy range (4÷6) MeV of the incident beam, in steps of 50 keV, for five α groups leading to the lowest levels of the residual nucleus. By methods of complex angular momenta a diffraction formula has been derived which fits nicely the experimental data. The diffraction formula has been compared with the DWBA calculations by numerical experiments.

Si danno i risultati delle sezioni d’urto differenziali della reazione26Mg(3He, α)25Mg misurate ogni 50 keV nell’intervallo di energia incidente (4÷6) MeV per i primi cinque gruppi di particelle α relativi allo stato fondamentale del nucleo residuo e ai primi quattro livelli eccitati. Un ottimo accordo si trova usando una formula diffrazionale ricavata con i metodi di somma nel piano complesso dei momenti angolari. Questa formula è anche confrontata con i calcoli DWBA con un esperimento numerico.

Были иэмерены дифференциальные поперечные сечения для реакции26Mg(3He, α)25Mg в области знергий падаюшего пучка (4÷6) МзВ, с щагом 50 кзВ, для пяти групп α, приводяших к ниэщим уровням остаточного ядра. С помошью методов комплексных моментов выводится диффракционная формула, которая хорощо соответствует зкспериментальным данным. Полученная диффракционная формула сравнивалась с DWВА вычислениями посредством численных зкспериментов.
