General method for solving the problem of excitation of electromagnetic waves in open multilayered dielectric structures

  • Published:
Radiophysics and Quantum Electronics Aims and scope

Abstract

We have solved the problem of excitation of open multilayered isotropic dielectric structures by an arbitrary system of currents. The method is based on the modified Fel'd-Zakson-Vainshtein excitation theory. Integral relations allowing us to determine the basic characteristics of radiating structures are obtained.
