Abstract

This paper is a review of the extinguishing agents available for combating hydrocarbon fuel fires. The original work was done to set the state for a proposed laboratory test procedure to evaluate all known fire extinguishing agents that have been recommended for use in controlling and extinguishing aircraft fuel fires.
