Zusammenfassung

Es wird über den seltenen Fall einer doppelseitigen unmittelbar nacheinander aufgetretenen Achillessehnenruptur berichtet. Auffallend war bei der sonst gesunden Patientin eine erhebliche degenerative Veränderung beider Achillessehnen bei der pathologisch-histologischen Untersuchung. Diese war offensichtlich Ursache für die Rupturen nach einer extremen Vorbelastung.

Abstract

A very rare case of simultaneous bilateral rupture of the achilles tendon is reported. The histology revealed severe degenerative lesions on both achilles-tendons in a healthy patient. This severe degeneration obviously caused the ruptures following an extreme initial stress.
