Die suprakondyläre Humerusfraktur im Kindesalter, ihre Behandlung und Ergebnisse nach der Methode von Blount

Zusammenfassung

Von 1970 bis 1980 wurden von 155 suprakondylären Humerusfrakturen bei Kindern 122 konservativ nach der Methode von Blount und 33 operativ behandelt. Operationsindikationen waren Flexionsfrakturen, zweit-und drittgradig offene Brüche, Gefäß-und/oder Nervenläsionen und polytraumatisierte Patienten zur Pflegeeleichterung. Von 82 im Hals-Handgelenk-Schlingenverband behandelten Kindern weisen nach zweibis zehn Jahren 64(78%) ein ideales, 12(15%) ein gutes und 6(7%) ein genügendes Ergebnis auf. Bei 18(21%) findet sich eine Vasusfehlstellung von mehr als fünf Grad.

Abstract

From 1970 to 1980 155 supracondylar fractures of the humerus in children were treated conservatively by the method of Blount and 33 were treated surgically. The indications for operation were flexion-fractures, second- or third-grade compound fractures, vessel or nerve lesions and for easier nursing of polytraumatized patients. Out of 82 fractures treated by collar and cuff 64(78%) showan ideal, 12 (15%) a good and 6(7%) a satisfactory result two to ten years after the accident. In 18 cases one could see a defective varus functions of more than five degrees.
