Dynamics of intense heat pulses in HeII interacting with vortices they generate

Abstract

The dynamics of intense heat pulses propagating in HeII is investigated in this paper using numerical methods. The problem is soved within the framework of the hydrodynamics of superfluid turbulence (HST). The results obtained are compared with experimantal data.
