Abstract
The novel fatty acids (Z)-6-nonadecenoic acid (1) and (Z)-17-pentacosenoic acid (2) were characterized in the spongeGeodia gibberosa. These fatty acids were mainly found in phosphatidylethanolamine and phosphatidylcholine.
