The Miami 1981 wave model intercomparison test

Summary

The 7 cases devised for the wave model intercomparison test are described together with the application of a ray model. The physics and the mathematical solutions of the model are described. Then, for each test, the particular solution used is analysed in detail and some examples of results are shown. Comments on the model and, in general, on the intercomparison are the conclusion.

Si descrivono i 7 casi proposti per il confronto fra i vari modelli per il calcolo del moto ondoso ed il loro svolgimento con un modello a raggi. Se ne descrivono la fisica e le soluzioni matematiche. Successivamente per ciascun caso la soluzione particolare è analizzata in dettaglio e si mostrano come esempio alcuni risultati. Si conclude con un'analisi critica del modello a raggi e, piú in generale, del confronto effettuato.

Анализируются 7 случаев, предложенных для сравнения различных моделей волнового движения и рассматривается применение модели лучей. Описываются физические и математические решения зтой модели. Затем подробно анализируется частное рещение и приводятся некоторые результаты. В заключение предлагается критический анализ модели лучей и результатов сравнения.
