Dimerization of dioxovanadium(v) ions in the presence of cyclohexenyl hydroperoxide

Abstract

The structure and properties of the intermediate that is formed in the reaction of VO(DMSO)5(ClO4)2 with cyclohexenyl hydroperoxide and characterized by the band at λmax=402 nm in the electronic absorption spectra of its solution were considered using quantum-chemical concepts.
