Abstract
A metrological analysis is made of the results of tests of an object (product) for tightness. The results of the analysis are used to evaluate the leakage of gas from the internal volume of the object over the preceding year. The analysis is based on differentiating between random errors occurring during the tests and errors that are made in the calibration of the leak detector and contribute to the unexcluded systematic error. A method is described for adding these errors and constructing the corresponding confidence interval.
