Abstract
The paper stresses the importance of a proper understanding of the electrical behaviour of a metal electrode. The necessity for investigating the properties of such an electrode by an appropriate method is emphasized, and the results of such an investigation into a platinum, a tungsten and two stainless-steel electrodes reported. The findings are displayed in graphical form. Attention is drawn to the particularly complicated behaviour of a positive tungsten electrode.
Sommaire
