Mechanical properties of magnesium alloys with dysprosium

Abstract

The paper is devoted to mechanical properties of magnesium alloys with a rare earth element of dysprosium. It is shown that the hardening of the alloys is maximum with a dysprosium additive in an amount close to its maximum solubility in solid magnesium.
