The effect of the torso boundary in electrocardiography

Abstract

This paper outlines and contrasts three different (external) “infinite medium” potential fields which may be obtained (in principle) from known geometry, conductivities, and bounded medium torso potentials. Their electrocardiographic implications are considered.
