Preparation and characterization of ternary magnetic semiconductors

Summary

Crystal growth processes, the characterization of properties and the application prospects for ternary magnetic semiconductors (TMS) are reviewed. The regulation of the TMS properties can be achieved either by composition change while growing crystals or by further thermal treatment. The compounds CdCr2Se4, CdCr2S4, Cu y Cr2Se4−z Br x have been selected for discussion.

Si riesaminano i processi di crescita dei cristalli, la caratterizzazione delle proprietà e le prospettive di applicazione per i semiconduttori magnetici ternari (TMS). La regolazione delle proprietà dei TMS può essere ottenuta sia cambiando la composizione durante la crescita dei cristalli o mediante ulteriore trattamento termico. Per la discussione sono stati scelti i composti CdCr2Se4, CdCr2S4 e Cu y Cr2Se4−z Br x .

⌕езюме

Рассмотрены процессы роста кристаллов, свойства и перспективы применения тройных магнитных полупроводников (ТМП). Показана возможность изменения свойств ТМП как изменениен состава при росте кристаллов, так и последуующей термической обработкой. Длд обсудцения выбраны CdCr2Se4, CdCr2S4 и Cu y Cr2Se4−z Br x .
