Abstract
It is demonstrated that cytoplasmic extract of rat pup liver stimulates cellular and intracellular regeneration of hepatocytes exposed to the toxic agent CCl4. Injection of liver cytosol stabilizes lysosomal membranes, increases the coefficient of energy efficiency of mitochondria, and activates proliferation of polyploid hepatocytes.
