Hydrotechnical Construction Aims and scope

Conclusions

  1. 1.

An algorithm and computer program were developed for hydraulic calculation of the designs of aerators for controlling aeration of flows on a spillway.

  2. 2.

A method of engineering calculation is given which makes it possible to optimize the design parameters of a system for anticavitation protection of a high-head spillway consisting of a sequence of aerators.

  3. 3.

The use of the computer program increases the validity of design decisions being made about aerating anticavitation devices.
