Sunto
Summary
From an integral rapresentation of theHankel functions H (1)v (v) and H (2)v (v) and by usingvan der Corput's theory of enveloping series we obtain an asymptotic expansion forBessel functions Jv(v) and Yv(v). An upper bound for the error term is also obtained.
