Abstract
57Fe Mössbauer spectroscopy was used to study electrodeposited Fe−P amorphous alloys with 12–16 at% P content. We have found that the Mössbauer parameters and the hyperfine field distributions of Fe−P samples depend on the preparation parameters (composition of electrolyte, temperature and current density of electrolysis). The Fe−P samples of nearly identical concentration and prepared under different conditions have different short range ordering.
