Biomedical applications of the Mössbauer effect

Abstract

Biomedical applications are a new field of the Mössbauer effect based on the results of biological studies. This review will consider investigations dealing with the use of Mössbauer spectroscopy in several areas of biomedical research which illustrate the possibilities of this technique to reveal new information about pathological processes.
