Summary
A case of tumourlike amyloidosis of the conjunctiva and orbita is reported. In the family of the young man trachoma is known. The excision of the amyloid led only to a short improvement. Electronmicroscopic and histological examinations of the excised material showed a fibrillar structure of the same features, known from other forms of localisation.
