Conclusion

The proposed relations for the economically most advantageous diameters of penstocks and diversion tunnels of hydroelectric stations and pumped-storage plants take into account sufficiently completely the construction characteristics of the route of the conduits and operating regime of a hydroelectric station in a power system.
