Abstract
We find approximate solutions of the diffusion equation for a two-dimensional Brownian particle density. We obtain expressions for the corrections connected with the fluctuations of the transfer coefficients, which can be applied in particular to describe the fluctuations of the concentration of Brownian particles in small volumes of the medium.
