Abstract
A simple device made chiefly from electrical parts readily available is described which is electrically the analog of Mohr’s strain circle. It is physically quite similar also. It utilizes resistance and direct current. Not to be mistaken for a computer, it does nevertheless give maximum and minimum strains and double-angle answers from strain-rosette data. The stress circle and product of inertia construction may also be used. The chief purpose of the device is to stir interest in and under-standing of the Mohr circle construction.
