Summary
In order to study the resolution of chiral alcohols by gas chromatography twelve chiral phases derived from (+) tartaric acid were synthetized. The different factors whichcould modify the resolution were studied: importance of trapped fractions of the peak, structures of the chiral phases and racemic compounds.
