Two new yeasts from Hawaiian fruit flies

Summary

One yeast isolate from the feces of the fruit flyD. crucigera is new and is described asCandida sorbosa nov. sp. A new species ofRhodotorula from the living larva ofDrosophila pilimanae is described asRhodotorula pilimanae.
