Summary
The paper presents a design for an electrical model of a chromatographic column for linear gas-solid chromatography including the derivation of theoretical relations between chromatographic and electrical quantities. The paper is based on an idea of combining the simulation of adsorption kinetics and dynamics realized by first finding an electrical model simulating the kinetic curves obtained by measuring the kinetics of adsorption into a particle of the column packing, then combining this model with a model of the mass balance in the column.
