Summary
It is true that a certain amount of ATP is bond to the G-actin extracted byStraub's method, but we could not confirm that ATP is hydrolysed when G-actin is transformed in F-actin.
The changes of isoelectric point when G-actin is polymerized in F-actin remain thus unexplained.
