Abstract
Highly purified and concentrated interferons obtained from L cells or from mouse peritoneal leukocytes (MPL) after induction with different inducers (Newcastle disease virus, double-stranded RNAs) were similar in their electrophoretic features. Incorporation of35S-labeled methionine during induction and production of interferons was similar in both cultures. However, differences were seen in electrophoretic profiles of interferons obtained from MPL cultures at different time intervals after induction.
