Mössbauer study of thermal metamorphosed Antarctic meteorites

Abstract

In this paper we report on variable temperature Mössbauer spectroscopy measurements on Yamato-82162 and Yamato-86720. These Antarctic carbonaceous chondrites contrast with other non-Antarctic carbonaceous chondrites in which no evidences of thermal metamorphism have been found.
