Side-chain alkylation of toluene with methanol over zeolite catalysts

Abstract

Catalytic properties of NaX-type zeolites modified by alkali metal cations under hydrothermal conditions have been studied. The highest process efficiency is obtained for CsNaX catalysts. The effect of operation conditions on the process results was examined.
