Summary
Eight new species ofEupenicillium are described and illustrated. They areE. terrenum sp. nov.E. senticosum sp. nov.,E. stolkiae sp. nov.,E. meridianum sp. nov.,E. erubescens sp. nov.,E. alutaceum sp. nov.,E. inusitatum sp. nov. andE. catenatum sp. nov. Their conidial states represent new species of the genusPenicillium.
All strains of the new species were recovered from South African soils.
