Abstract
The effect of gamma radiation on cation transport across an artificial membrane has been measured. The membrane of 18C6 or phen in CHCl3 has been gammairradiated, and the radiation effect studied in terms of cation selectivity. The magnitude of transportation is increased under ionizing radiation specificity is changed from potassium to cesium and strontium to barium.
