Studies on125I-insulin metabolism by isolated rat liver nuclei

Summary

Isolated rat liver nuclei degraded125I-insulinin vitro. While glutathione stimulated the degradation of125I-insulin by rat liver nuclei, N-ethylmaleimide inhibited it.
