Conclusion
The results given in this paper are consistent in all expressions with results of ref. [2] for the case μ1=μ2=1. The study of Čerenkov-transition radiation is also interesting because it could be suitable and efficient source of x-rays for the needs of roentgen lithography. Theoretical and experimental works [4] have already been done in this field. From the theoretical point of view the classical electrodynamics are employed; the results are not fully consistent with experiments. It would be available to study Čerenkov-transition radiation for multi-layer systems also by means the source-theoretical method with consideration of the absorption of media.
