Binding ofLens culinaris lectin to sea urchin embryo chromatin

Summary

Lentin binds specifically to sea urchin embryo chromatin. This binding is saturable and inhibited by α-methylmannose. Scatchard plot analysis of the binding reaction suggests a single binding site.
