Summary
The purpose of the communication is to work out suitable methods to determine the doses of cardiotonics while changing the type of cardiotonics.
Methods
Mathematical and graphical solution of problems by using experimental data from current literature.
Presumptions
-
1.
Substance I, whose exclusion we can approximate with an exponential function, is active in the organism.
-
2.
At a given moment substance II, whose exclusion we can also approximate with an exponential function, starts to be added at regular intervals.
-
3.
The relative levels of the two substances can be added up.
-
4.
Then the optimal dose-scheme for the most regular effect is to be sought.
Results
-
1.
Deduced formulae for mathematical solutions.
-
2.
Elaboration of graphic solution-methods.
-
3.
Information about the slide-rule and nomograms, designed by the authors for that purpose, and forming the topic of a separate report.
-
4.
Communication on detailed dose-tables, elaborated by means of a computer according to deduced relations.
-
5.
Discussion of the practical possibilities.
Resultate
-
1.
Abgeleitete Formeln für mathematische Lösungen
-
2.
Ausgearbeitete graphische Lösungsmethoden
-
3.
Diskussion über die Anwendungsmöglichkeiten
