Abstract

Pagiocerus frontalis produced offspring on maize between 13°C and 30°C. Below and above these temperatures development was not completed. The optimum developmental temperature was 25°C.P. frontalis was able to produce F1 between 20% and 75% r.h. though the mortality at lower rel. humidities was high.
