Application of the method of hill determinant to theq \(\bar q\) confinement potentials

Abstract

The Hill determinant method is discussed in the context ofq \(\bar q\) confinement power potential of typeV(r)= − V 0−a/r + br, b > 0, which is commonly used for thec \(\bar c\) andb \(\bar b\) systems. The masses predicted by the potential are in good agreement with the experimental results.
