Summary
Serial Computed Tomography (CT) scans of isolated temporal bones have been obtained in transverse planes at 1.5 mm intervals. Then gross anatomic sections of same temporal bones were taken at 3 mm. intervals in planes parallel to the CT scans. These CT and anatomic sections were evaluated comparatively.
