Long range force on a dislocation loop due to grain boundary

  • Published:
Czechoslovak Journal of Physics B Aims and scope

Abstract

Within the isotropic theory of elasticity, calculations were carried out of the force exerted by a planar interface between two isotropic media on a small dislocation loop. The interface was considered as welded or slipping boundary, the small dislocation loop was approximated by the infinitesimal dislocation loop.
