Abstract
Two cases are presented of cardiac arrest, probably due to carbon dioxide gas embolism following surgical treatment of an urethral stricture under laser, and in one, probable systemic embolism. Quick recognition of the accident, adequate resuscitative measures, and hyperbaric oxygenation in one, achieved complete recovery.
