Abstract
The dependence of the shape of the hysteresis loop on the external stress was studied on samples of manganese-magnesium and manganese ferrites. A high value was assumed for the energy of the magnetocrystallic anisotropy of manganese-magnesium ferrites of different composition. The sign of the magnetostriction was determined from the character of the changes inB r/Bm of the samples.
