A rapid stain method for suspension cultured plant cells

Summary

A simple method for staining plant cells grown in suspension culture is described. The technique, which involves acid hydrolysis and toluidine blue O staining, provides slide preparations in which cell divisions and nuclear divisions can be observed simultaneously.
